The Grand Bazaar which is the home to thousands of vendors sale everything from Turkish carpets to copperware. Vendors from all over come to set up a stand in one of the many alleyways inside the marketing area.

Those who come to visit Istanbul choose to purchase things like t-shirts, traditional handicrafts, and souvenirs. Those who live near Istanbul or who travel there as a collector purchase even more expensive things such as glazed tiles, brassware, leather apparel,pottery, and hookah pipes. Shoppers enjoy haggling with vendors over items.

Shopping is almost like a tradition in Istanbul. If you are a historian or possibly just enjoy viewing history of the city you are in then visiting a museum or two while you are there can be very exciting. The Istanbul Modern Museum houses several big tourist attractions such as photo galleries, exhibition halls, a cinema hall, as well as video art. Visitors are able to view amazing parts of Istanbul from the museum.
